Over the years, I have visited my fair share of religious monuments and shrines. It's a bit hectic trying to keep up with who's who in the wide world of religion - let alone the world that combines religion, archiecture and history. So I really did feel compelled to included a page on religious monuments which seem to encompass all of the above.
From Switzerland I've included information on Berner Münster Cathedral of Saint Nicholas, Fribourg, Grossmünster and Fraumünster in Zürich and Parish Church of St Oswald and St Cassian, Sargans, Canton St Gallen.
To date, I've included information on Chiesa Della SS Trinita Degli SpagnoliOratory of the Most Holy Sacrament, Church of Santa Barbara dei Librari and Church of St Susanna, Cistercian Nuns.
From our trip to Turin, I've included Royal Church of San Lorenzo (Real Chiesa San Lorenzo) so far.
From our week in Italy, I visited the Basilica San Lorenzo in Florence as well as some others - which will be published here in due course/
From Christchurch on the south island of New Zealand, I have included Christ Church Cathedral and the Catholic Basilica
From Lisbon, I've included Se Catedral de Lisboa and Igreja de Santa Engrácia - Panteão Nacional.
From Vienna , we only included Church of Mariahilf and the Lazaristenkirch / Vicentian Church of Immaculate Conception.
I currently don't have much from the rest of the world, but I have made some notes on Cologne Cathedral in Cologne (Germany), de Kathedraal, Antwerp, Belgium, The Cathedral of Notre Dame in Luxembourg and Salisbury Cathedral, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England
