Rapperswil is often overlooked by visitors to Switzerland - even by those looking for day trips from Zürich. That's their loss.

A lake cruise or short train ride away, historic Rapperswil is perched on the shores of Lake Zürich. Famed for it's Castle and rose garden (Rapperswil is also known as the "City of Roses"), "Rappi" plays host to the annual Blues n Jazz festival which takes place throughout the old town.
