2009 will see us untertake some interesting travels to places we've not been before.
Our first trip will be over the western Easter weekend - when we're going to be visiting the Greek capital Athens. It's been over 20 years since I was last in Athens so I'm quite looking forward to this one.
We'll be visiting China for the total solar eclipse. We've never been to China before but, unsurprisingly after the Olympics, have heard an awful lot about it. Our trip will take in Lhasa, Shanghai, Hangzhou as well as a cruise on the Yangtze River.
We're likely also to visit Chienbase in Liestal and Basel Fasnacht for Morgenstreich. We may also visit the Fête des Vendanges in Neuchâtel depending on other commitments.
We've also committed to going to New Zealand over the Christmas and New Years period.
