The Jesuit Church of Luzern is one of the major places of worship and of interest in Lucerne. Located on the banks of the Ruess, the Baroque-period church is noted as being one of the most beautiful churches of its period in Switzerland. The onion domes - a style probably most famous in Russian-style Baroque - dominate the river-side skyline of Luzern.
