Pukekura Park is often regarded as the gem of the many gardens in the Taranaki region and one of the most significant gardens in New Zealand's
Pukekura Park features both native bush, formal gardens and, in the adjacent Brooklands a fine lily lake alongside excellent fernerys and a traditional English-style tea house.
Even for non-garden types such as myself, Pukekura Park is well worth visiting.
