One of the finest ways to see Mount Taranaki is from the air with a helicopter ride. Although a fine sight from the ground - many details of the mountain are best seen from the air. With fine weather in the spring time, Mount Taranaki still has plenty of snow - some of which has melted enough to reveal tantalising details of the volcanic mountain below. Great way to get up close and personal with the mountain's snow capped peak!
