The Gabba is one of the major centres of Cricket in Australia - so it was surprising to learn that the South African team had not played here since 1962, when Apartheid was still in full swing.
Now the visiting South African side, fully accepted in the sporting world of Test Cricket, are a side to be reckoned with.
