Oriental Travel, a London-based travel firm, have added an additional two tours to their offering after their origial three tours sold out. The original three tours to take in the 2009 Solar Eclipse lasting from 5 to 13 days in length. Their tours are only in China and they offer some tour extensions to include Hong Kong or Sanya Sun & Beach.
They say "what makes our program stands out is that we have a private viewing location by the river in a little known town with little disturb from other tourists." But they will also be going to the Qiantang River to view The World's Largest Tidal Bore after the end of the the Eclipse.
The three tours on offer take in a variety of options including Beijing, Xian, Yangtze River Cruising, Shanghai, Suzhou & Haining. Which should be plenty of choice for people looking for a bit of culture as well as one of the worlds most incredible natural phenomenon.
