Olten is pretty much a railway town - a sort of Clapham Junction of Switzerland - but it does have a small Old Town (Altstadt) which is worthy of a few hours pottering around. The Old Town has some charming frescoed old buildings - of which the Ratskeller is an excellent place for some pub-style dining.
