North Island - New Zealand travelogue by Mark Sukhija

During October 2006, I had the privelege of visiting New Zealand for the first time.

During the trip, I only visited the North Island for which, no doubt, I will be roundly slammed by the travel Xenophobes. However, with family links to the North Island it's a sure thing that I'll be visiting New Zealand again. During our next visit to New Zealand in November 2007, we intend to visit to South Island.

Here are some of my notes from this visit to New Zealand .

28 October 2006 Occidental Belgian Bar Cafe
27 October 2006 Sky Tower
27 October 2006 The Original Tonys
26 October 2006 Arachnocampa Luminosa
26 October 2006 The Waitomo Caves
25 October 2006 Portland - Hotel of Thorndon
25 October 2006 A visit to Mount Bruce
25 October 2006 The Kiwi Today
25 October 2006 70 Mile Bush
24 October 2006 The Istanbul
24 October 2006 The Backbencher
23 October 2006 Southward Museum Trust
19 October 2006 A helicopter ride over Taupo
18 October 2006 The Buried Village
17 October 2006 Henesseys Irish Bar
17 October 2006 Wai O Tapu
16 October 2006 Baden Lodge Motel

New Zealand is one of the most naturally beautful countries I have had the privelege of visiting. Having enjoyed my visit to New Zealand and learnt a lot about her, I look forward to visiting once again.
