Round Table, Leicester Square
Review date: 18 September 2007
I popped into The Round Table pub, close to Londons Leicester Square, for a spot of luncheon befor indulging my appetite for a spot of Rubens at The National Gallery.
The Round Table, Spirit Group pub, has the look of a oldey-worldy pub but somehow manages to maintain the feel of a pre-fab. Conversly, the London Pride is very well kept comprised a delicious pint. Greene King and other proper beer as well as a selection of Lagers are also on offer.
I got the fish and chips, which was basically fine - but nothing I couldn't russle up out of my own freezer and a microwave. So kinda disappointing really.
Service was quick and courteous but hardly enthusiastic.
Thankfully, none of this dampened my appetite for a spot of Rubens and Caravaggio.
