The Leigham Arms
Review date: 18 September 2007
Normally I don't visit Streatham as it has something of "The Wild West" about it. Only hoods have replaced the Stetsons. I was, therefore, pleasantly surprised with The Leigham Arms which is a most pleasant pub. Bar staff were friendly. Beer was well kept and I was most pleased to find Fullers London Pride on tap. Dim (ie proper) pub lighting. Clean. Footy on. Beer garden out the back. Basically all the ingredients for the perfect local pub. Fantastic. Worth risking a trip to The Wild West for.
