Festivals in Switzerland
Switzerland is home to many festivals and cultural events. There are a variety of events which should cater to most, if not all, tastes.
Perhaps most prominent amongst Switzerland festivals is the Montreux Jazz Festival which attracts international performers and visitors. Those who are more interested in Carnival should visit Basel Fasnacht which lasts a full three days starting at 4am Monday morning and finishing at 4am on Thursday morning.
