Blockhus

The Blockhus is one of Zürichs best restaurants. Excellent selection of mains and regular specials on offer, the Blockhus also boasts a very fine wine list. The duck in orange sauce and the creme catalana are both highly recomended. The Blockhus is not the cheapest place in town but you do get what you pay for - excellent service and fine food.

Cantina

The Cantina is based in the Niederdorf area of Zürich, which is widely regarded as one of the more touristy parts of Zürich. The Cantina, however, does offer a decent selection of pasta and Italian-style meat dishes at reasonable prices.

The Cantina is at Niederdorfstrasse 10. Reservations not essential at this casual restaurant.

Casa Aurelio

The Spanish restauarant Casa Aurelio is just off Zurichs lively Langstrasse and has provided good service, high-quality food and excellent wine over many visits. Does an excellent line in steaks and a good selection of wines The fish also seems to be popular although I've not actually tried it myself.
