Hotel Beau-Rivage, Neuchatel

We've just spent a night at the Hotel Beau-Rivage in Neuchatel while attending the Fete du Vedagnes festival - a Neuchatelois indulgence in last years wine crop.
The Beau Rivage, with or without the street party outside, is magnificently located on the lakeside of Lake Neuchatel which afford wonerful views of The Alps when the weather is clear and if you're lucky enough to have a lake-view room!
Breakfast is served in the Veranda - on the lakeside of the hotel - which, naturally enough for Switzerland, afford splendid views of the Lake and the Alps for all visitors to the Beau-Rivage.
Our room was comfortable and spacious. The bathroom, actually three rooms one for bath and sinks, one for lavatory and one for shower, was decked out with granite and Bulgari toiletries.
Checkin was quick, efficient, courteous and polite. Service at the Veranda bar for our one evening was equally quick and hospitable.
Fundamentally, The Beau Rivage is an excellent hotel at an excellent location.
