Lucerne
Lucerne is one of Switzerlands most visited cities. And quite justifiably. The Old Town (Altstadt)
of Lucerne is very well preserved, compact enough to walk around
yet large enough to maintain interest for whole days wandering.
The main sights and attractions in Lucerne are concentrated
in and around the Old Town and the mountains of Pilatus and
Rigi, both of which are accessible from Lucerne. Lucerne is
also home to several museums including a
museum of Picasso and the well known Swiss
Transportation Museum.
