Hotel di Krone (Hauptgasse 64, 4500 Solothurn) is slap bang in the centre of Solothurn city. On my solitary overnight stay in the Die Krone, my comfortable room had a view of the main cathedral - which was nice. The restaurant was pretty good also and a very enjoyable wine list.
