Trattoria Pizzeria Polese
Review date: 21st October 2007
En route to Travestere from our hotel near Piazza Navona, we popped into the Trattoria - Pizzeria Polese for a spot of lunch. We were not to be disappointed.
The Trattoria Pizzeria Polese, while probably occupied by more foreigners during the high season, had it's fill of Romans on this visit which is a good sign.
There's a good selection of both Roman cuisine and pizzas (for those who wish to linger and for those who wish to hurry respectivly) and, as an added bonus, there's a respectable wine list. But I guess that's normal in Rome.
My Pizza Quattro Staggioni was pretty good. Nice thin crispy base. Good toppings. Nuff cheese.
Service was pretty quick and efficient. Seated immeaditely. Food came quick. Polite. Good all-round performance.
