Naples and Campania - a trip plan
Over the Easter weekend, I'll be visiting Naples for the first time. This is some of the information I've got together so far.
Schedule
We arrive in Naples in Friday morning and return to Zürich on Wednesday afternoon.
The Back to Baroque exhibition will run until April 11 at National Museum of Capodimonte, Castel Sant'Elmo and Saint Martin National Museum and Charterhouse.
Side trips
Aside from the historic centre of Naples, we'll also visit the Palace at Caserta which, while a UNESCO listed property, is also famed as a filming location in the Star Wars backstory.
The historic city of Pompeii, destroyed by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79AD, is a short train ride away. And on the to-do list.

Getting there
Naples is served by Naples International Airport - however there aren't any direct flights from Zürich. So, we'll fly down to Fimuncino airport near Rome and catch the Eurostar train from Termini (Romes main station) and to Naples.
