Long weekend in Athens

Over the (Western) Easter weekend in 2009, we're planning to be in the Greek capital city of Athens. I've not been to Athens for something like 20 years - so it'll be nice to be back. By all accounts, Athens has changed hugely since then - most especially since the Athens Olympics. Improvements in infrastructure since and a car-free zone will probably make a substantial part of the city unrecognizable.
Of course, the Acropolis and, most especially, the Parthenon will still be there - atop the hill.
From Zürich, we will be taking the near-three hour Swiss International Airlines flight from Zürich Airport to Athens International Airport.
