Vienna - getting there
By air
Vienna is served by Vienna International Aiport which is a bit short on the budget airline front. Which is either good (fewer drunk, rampaging Brits) or bad (you’re not a drunk, rampaging Brit but do have a budget)
Vienna does act as a hub for Austria Airlines and also serves other flag carriers including Swiss International Airlines, Lufthansa, Korean Air, LOT Polish Airlines and Croatia Airlines.
Budget Airline wise, there’s Niki (the airline owned by F1 Ace Niki Lauda) and Air Berlin.
The Schnellbahn and "City Aiport Trian" (CAT) train services both take you into central Vienna - but the Schnellbahn is much cheaper than the CAT.
